Lauren Wortman is an associate attorney at Busch, Reed, Jones & Leeper, P.C. She graduated from August University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. Lauren subsequently attended Mercer University School of Law, where she fostered a glowing reputation for her hard work, competitiveness, and meticulous research.
During law school, Lauren represented Mercer University School of Law at the Annual Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition and served as a research assistant to Professor David Hricik, where she researched complex issues in ethics and patent litigation.
Lauren also has experience working at the Toombs Judicial Circuit for the State of Georgia, where she proficiently conducted research for the superior court judge on legal issues ranging from civil procedure to criminal sentencing.
Today, Lauren continues to hone her craft at Busch, Reed, Jones & Leeper, P.C., applying her masterful research skill to the service of the residents of Marietta and the greater Georgia area.
When Lauren is not hard at work at the office, she enjoys reading, running, hiking, biking, and live music.
