Jason Hergenroether
Partner
Jason Hergenroether joined the firm in 2016, bringing with him more than 14 years of experience in the defense of a broad range of legal matters, including wrongful death, complex litigation, motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, products liability and other general litigation defense.
Jason also has extensive appellate practice experience, having several reported cases in both the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Georgia. For example, Jason was heavily involved with Walker v. Tensor, 298 Ga. 297 (2015), in which the Supreme Court of Georgia held that a defendant could apportion liability to a Plaintiff's employer. This was a major victory to defendants across Georgia, as it allows a jury the opportunity to determine to what extent a Plaintiff's own employer's actions may have caused or contributed to the injuries which a Plaintiff now seeks to recover from someone else.
Throughout his career, Jason has helped people who are being sued for money damages navigate complex legal waters. As a partner with Busch, Reed, Jones & Leeper, P.C., Jason is focused on bringing his wealth of legal experience to providing the best possible outcome to his clients with an emphasis on keeping the cost of defense low.
