Holly Loy
Associate Attorney
As the result of her father’s job as one of the first experts in business computer programming in the 1970s and 1980s, living in 8 states and attending 14 different schools before graduating a year early and as the valedictorian of her class in Greenwood, South Carolina.
She attended Southern Illinois University where she was an officer of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority and Phi Alpha Theta, Honor Society in History. She graduated magna cum laude and received the honors of Panhellenic Outstanding Sorority Member and Delyte Morris Presidential Scholar (the highest honor given to a graduating senior).
At the University of Tennessee College of Law, Holly was a member of the editorial board of the Tennessee Law Review, the Moot Court Board, and ATLA National Trial Team. She was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2000. Prior to joining the firm, Holly was an attorney for the City of Atlanta and an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia.
Activities and Interests
- Former member of Cineprov!, winner of Creative Loafing’s Best Live Comedy award
- Extra on a few shows filmed in Atlanta, including as a Walker in “The Walking Dead”
- Writing committee chair and performer in the Atlanta Bar Association’s “A Courthouse Line” productions, a fundraising show written and performed by attorneys to raise money for the Atlanta Bar Foundation.
- Refinishing furniture, sewing, cooking and travel
- Enjoy spending time with her family, including her dogs, Fergus and Kaywinnet Lee.
