Ernest Harrell
Associate Attorney
Ernest J. Harrell joined the firm as a litigation associate in 2022. While attending the University of Alabama School of Law, Ernest was a member of the Black Law Student Association (BLAS) Moot Court Team, who placed within the Top 8 in their national competition, and UA National Trial Advocacy Team, where he received the George Peach Taylor Award for Outstanding Performance. He was also the Vice President of both the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and Alabama Law Student Alumni Society. During his 2021 Spring Semester, he was also awarded a CALI Award in his Entrepreneurship and Non-Profit Clinic. Prior to entering the legal profession, Ernest attended the University of Alabama and received his Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Ernest enjoys music and art from cultures around the world. He also enjoys reading, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
