Blake Kilday
Associate
Blake L. Kilday is an associate attorney with Busch, Reed, Jones, &
Leeper, PC. Blake obtained his undergraduate degrees from the University
of Georgia and his law degree from Georgia State University College of
Law. While attending Georgia State University College of Law, Blake was
a member of the executive board of the Student Health Law Association
and competed in several national health law competitions. Blake also represented
clients for the Health Law Partnership Legal Services Clinic and assisted
in drafting bills for Georgia legislators.
While awaiting the results of the Georgia Bar Examination, Blake worked
for the Honorable Philip Raymond, III of the Superior Court of Bibb County,
Georgia, where he participated in a variety of legal proceedings and conducted
extensive research on behalf of the Court.
Upon admittance to the State Bar of Georgia, Blake returned to his hometown
of Woodstock, Georgia, to accept a position with Meriwether & Tharp,
LLC. After three years practicing family law with Meriwether & Tharp,
Blake decided to widen the scope of his practice area and join the Busch,
Reed, Jones & Leeper litigation team.
Before attending law school, Blake worked as the Vice President of Operations
for a country club and golf resort in South Carolina on Daufuskie Island.
In his free time, Blake enjoys spending time with his family, watching
football, and being on the lake.
