Robert Adamson joined the firm in January of 2014. Robert practices in all areas of civil litigation with a primary focus on construction law and complex business disputes. Robert has an established track record of achieving positive results for his clients through various means of litigation, including in state and federal courts, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative appeals. Robert has successfully represented clients ranging from individuals and small start-up businesses to Fortune 500 Companies in a large array of multifaceted business disputes, including architect and engineer liability claims; products liability and warranty claims; building design defects; lien foreclosure actions; public and private surety bond claims; construction liens; business dissolutions; and the resolution of intricate contract disputes.
In addition to his litigation practice, Robert also provides clients with a number of transactional services including business entity consulting and formation and the drafting of wills and estates. Robert has extensive experience during both his time here and while an associate at DLA Piper Prague in working closely with corporate clients on deal formation and documentation, corporate governance issues, and in drafting significant contracts and agreements, including license and franchise agreements, loan agreements and enforceable non-competes, asset purchase agreements, and corporate formation documents. Before joining Busch, Reed & Jones, Robert spent a year clerking at the Atlanta Business Court.
In his free time, Robert likes to stay active through sports and being outside any chance he gets. Robert is a resident of Midtown, Atlanta and spends a great deal of time volunteering within the community, whether it is through Big Brother of Atlanta or assisting in projects on the Atlanta Beltline. Robert is an avid traveler and has visited over 30 countries.
