Attorney Brent Kaufman is a welcome addition to Busch, Reed, Jones, & Leeper, P.C., particularly to our construction and business litigation team. He is an integral part of our firm thanks to his desire to succeed, extensive experience, and wealth of knowledge in the field of law. His dedication to advocacy for those who need it most is inspiring for all who are lucky enough to work with him. Brent’s areas of practice focus primarily on asset protection, business and commercial litigation, collections, construction law, fidelity and surety law, mechanics and materialmen’s liens, and property and employer/employee insurance litigation.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Brent attended The Lovett School before he went on to attend Furman University for his Bachelor’s degree and Charleston School of Law, where he earned his J.D. He has admittance in the Georgia and South Carolina state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. His publications have made an incredible impact on the legal community, focusing primarily on issues close to his heart.
Prior to joining Busch, Reed, Jones & Leeper, P.C. Brent was an attorney at King and Spalding and focused his practice on extremely complex international discovery disputes, in both English and Spanish. In his spare time, Brent is an avid golfer and enjoys being active in the community he so dearly loves.
