Chad Reed, a partner in the firm, has spent his entire career practicing in construction and commercial litigation. He has represented small corporate clients as well as Fortune 500 companies, including construction suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors and property owners. Chad has successfully litigated claims in state and federal courts throughout Georgia on such matters as defective construction, negligent design, breach of contract, payment disputes, surety bonds, delays and impacts, modifications, liens, warranties, and real estate litigation. In 2007, Chad served as a Committee Chair on a Senate Lien Law Advisory Committee, working with senators to help draft new legislation relating to construction liens, bonds and waivers. To better serve clients whose construction projects extend beyond Georgia and into North Carolina, Chad recently became licensed to practice law in North Carolina. He is available to discuss both dispute prevention and resolution, and to aggressively pursue claims.
